Brian's background

Brian has been DJ'ing to audiences since the early eighties, starting out as a 'roadie' with a great love of music and technology. His musical tastes had their roots in the early eighties dance music, from artists such as The Fatback Band, D-Train, Maze, and Soul II Soul. These have progressed through the evolution of dance music as we know it today which gives Brian passion and enthusiasm for his art. Brian works mainly as a professional mobile DJ, but also as a club DJ. These 2 areas of DJing can be very different in terms of the types of music played, but show a flexible approach to the Dancemix business.

 

In the last few years, Brian attended the Winter Music Conference in Miami,Fl to network with the tastemakers and artistes in this industry, as well as visiting Ibiza for the odd weekend in the Summer to soak up the forthcoming trends. Brian is committed to learning new skills, and has attended various DJ related courses in order to embrace and make the most of new technology.

Brian is also proud to be a resident DJ for The Night Train and HouseProud, featuring a history of house music formerly at the exclusive and exquisite Hurtwood Park Polo Club in Ewhurst between Guildford and Horsham. Brian who is one of the busiest and active DJs in the UK has been DJ'ing to packed dancefloors since the early eighties. His musical tastes had their roots in the early eighties dance music, and have progressed through the evolution to House Music as we know it today which gives Brian passion and enthusiasm for his art. His sets are dynamically driven by audience reaction, and he loves to take you on a trip though history from early seminal classic house tracks right up to the latest electro including latin, balearic, funky, tech and big room tunes, teasing you with the odd anthem for good measure. In the last few years, Brian attended the Winter Music Conference in Miami,Fl to network with his friends in this industry, as well as visiting Ibiza for the odd weekend in the Summer months to add fuel to his DJing passion. Brian is committed to learning new skills and sharing tips and techniques to keep his sets fresh, and has attended various DJ related and production courses in order to embrace and make the most of new technology.
